"Other World" (with moon) Bandon Beach, Oregon Limited Edition of 500 Artistic Liberty: a Hoya circular polarizer was used to help cut down on the water surface glare and add contrast to the "wild light" sunset. Selective cloning was used to take some distracting specks out of the foreground reflection. A graduated blend of two bracketed exposures was used to overcome the cameras dynamic range limitations. *I laid on my stomach in the pool of sandy water with my camera nearly skimming the surface to get this unusual reflection perspective of the crazy lighting before me. People kept coming up to me asking if I was alright, or to ask me what I was doing! Click again on the image to view it at its largest size and better see the moon and its reflection.
